General terms and conditions of sale

These general terms govern the engineering and additive-manufacturing services provided by AKLN Sàrl. Any order implies their acceptance.

1. Scope

They apply to all quotes, orders and services of AKLN Sàrl, unless specific terms are agreed in writing.

2. Offers and quotes

Quotes are prepared on the basis of the files, drawings and information provided by the client. Unless otherwise stated, they are valid for 30 days. The client's approval of a quote constitutes a firm order.

3. Prices

Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF). As AKLN Sàrl is not subject to VAT (art. 10 para. 2 Swiss VAT Act), VAT does not apply. Subcontracted services (finishing, painting, SLS) are included or invoiced in addition, as stated in the quote.

4. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable on receipt, within the period stated on the invoice. In the event of late payment, default interest may be applied in accordance with Swiss law.

5. Lead times

Delivery times are confirmed at order and given as a guide. A reasonable delay does not give rise to cancellation or damages, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Additive manufacturing, tolerances and validation

Critical dimensions are guaranteed when defined in the quote, through calibrated compensation and validation on a sample part. Other dimensions follow the drawing's general tolerances. For series, the client validates the sample part (or prototype) before production starts.

7. Files and intellectual property

The client warrants that they hold the rights to the files and drawings submitted. These remain their property and are treated confidentially. AKLN Sàrl neither discloses nor reuses them.

8. Subcontracting

AKLN Sàrl may entrust all or part of a production (notably SLS, finishing) to a qualified partner network, bound by the same confidentiality obligations.

9. Liability

AKLN Sàrl's liability is limited to the value of the order concerned. It does not cover indirect damages. The client is responsible for the conformity of the specifications they provide.

10. Complaints

Any complaint regarding non-conformity must be communicated in writing within 10 days of receiving the parts.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of AKLN Sàrl, in the canton of Bern.
